The Story
Long ago, the Toymaker cast out an assistant whose creations were too disturbing for any child. Now that forgotten apprentice has returned—and the toyshop belongs to him.
Patches the Bear tried to stop the takeover. He failed. Now he is trapped inside the Toyinator, and the machine is changing him into something new. Search the darkened workshop, unravel its twisted contraptions, and reverse the transformation before it becomes permanent.
You have 60 minutes to free Patches. After that, he may no longer want to leave.

What to Expect During Your Visit
When you arrive at Enchambered's Sacramento location on Arden Way, your game master will prepare you for what has taken over the workshop. Once inside, your group will have 60 minutes to search for clues, operate strange machinery, solve hands-on puzzles, and find a way to release Patches from the Toyinator.
This is not the bright, whimsical Toy Shop you remember. The October version uses darker lighting, an ominous soundscape, unsettling characters, and seasonal effects to create a more intense experience. Your session remains private, and hints are available whenever your group needs them.

- This seasonal version of the game is available only during October 2026. Once October ends, the original Trouble in the Toy Shop returns.
- How many people can play?
- The room accommodates 2 to 4 players. For the best experience, we recommend 3–4 participants so everyone stays engaged.
- Is this escape room scary?
- Yes. The Toyshop of Terror is designed to be spooky, suspenseful, and unsettling. It is darker and more intense than the original family-friendly game, with ominous lighting, sound, effects, and frightening characters. It is not a gore-focused experience.
- Is it suitable for children?

- No. The Toyshop of Terror is an October-only seasonal transformation with a darker story, changed atmosphere, new characters, and Halloween effects. Returning players will recognize the workshop, but not what has taken control of it.
